Cookie Waffles

I went sweet with this month’s waffle. Not only is it sweet, but it is super easy! I used pre-made cookie dough. I then topped my waffle with ice cream and fruit. You could also top with ice cream and chocolate syrup if you like!

Top with ice cream or whipped cream. Then add some fruit or chocolate sauce. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Pre-made cookie dough
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Start with a cold waffle iron. Coat with cooking spray.
  2. Take pieces of the cookie dough and cover the entire surface. Do not make the dough too thick, or it will seep out the sides while cooking (ask me...this happened to me the first time!).
  3. Close the cover of the waffle maker and cook on medium-high for approximately 4 minutes. Open the waffle make and turn off the heat. Let the waffle sit a minute so that it is easier to remove the waffle using a spatula.
  4. Repeat with the remaining dough.

Notes

I used chocolate chip cookie dough. But any pre-made cookie dough will work. If you are energetic you can also make your own favorite cookie dough and use the waffle iron to cook.
